Houthis Release Imagery of Destroyed PLC Vehicles East of Al-Jawf

SANAA, Yemen — September 15, 2026 — Yemen’s Houthi movement has released video and photographic imagery showing what it says are multiple military vehicles belonging to forces aligned with the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) destroyed east of Al-Jawf Governorate.

According to Houthi military media, the vehicles were targeted during attacks by PLC-aligned forces against Houthi positions in the area. A Houthi military source previously said on September 12 that forces massing east of Al-Jawf were targeted, claiming the destruction of dozens of military vehicles and losses among the attacking forces.

The released imagery shows damaged and destroyed vehicles in the desert terrain. Houthi forces said they used artillery and guided weapons against troop gatherings and military vehicles during the fighting.

The clashes are reported around areas east of Al-Hazm, including the Al-Labanat sector, where government-aligned forces have conducted military operations against Houthi positions.

The specific vehicle losses and casualty figures shown or claimed by the Houthis have not been independently verified. There was no immediate official response from the PLC regarding the imagery and the reported losses.
