Indian Intelligence Denies False Reports of Dawood Ibrahim Poisoning in Pakistan

Defense News - Indian intelligence sources have categorically refuted the recent circulating rumors claiming that fugitive terrorist Dawood Ibrahim was poisoned in Pakistan. According to high-ranking officials within the Indian intelligence network, these reports are fabricated and likely disseminated by Pakistani authorities.

Contrary to the alleged poisoning, sources state that Dawood Ibrahim is in good health and continues to engage in routine activities. An official emphasized, "Dawood is alive and healthy. Even I was shocked to see this fake news. I met him multiple times yesterday." Reports from the upscale Clifton area in Karachi, where Dawood is believed to be located, also indicate no unusual activities.

The misinformation gained traction on various social media platforms, where users claimed that Dawood Ibrahim had been rushed to the hospital after being poisoned. Screenshots purportedly from Pakistan caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar circulated, suggesting Dawood demise. However, investigations revealed that the message and account were fraudulent.

The viral message falsely stated, "The Messiah of humanity, dear to every Pakistani heart, our beloved His Excellency Dawood Ibrahim passed away due to poisoning by the unknown. He breathed his last in a hospital in Karachi. May Allah grant him the highest position in Jannat. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji un."

Dawood Ibrahim, wanted for multiple terror activities in India, including the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, is based in Karachi, and the United Nations Security Council announced a $25 million bounty on him in 2003. He remains one of India most wanted individuals, alongside figures like Hafiz Saeed, Maulana Masood Azhar, Syed Salahuddin, and Abdul Rauf Asghar.
