Emil Eftimov gained insights into the progress of Bulgaria’s upcoming F-16 Block 70 fleet. The visit revealed that seven Bulgarian F-16s are currently in different stages of production, with the first F-16 Block 70 expected to take its inaugural flight later this year.
Lockheed Martin's OJ Sanchez, the vice president and general manager of the Integrated Fighter Group, expressed pride in Bulgaria's acquisition of a cutting-edge fighter aircraft system.
