Unidentified Drones Spotted Over UK Bases Housing US Troops: Growing Security Concerns

A series of mysterious drone sightings over RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell in eastern England has raised alarm among UK and US defense officials. Between November 20 and 22, drones of varying sizes and configurations were observed near these bases, which host a significant number of American troops and serve as critical nodes in NATO operations. RAF Lakenheath, in particular, houses the only US F-35/F-15 fighter wing in Europe, highlighting the strategic importance of these sites.

The US Air Forces in Europe confirmed the sightings but emphasized that the drones did not disrupt base operations or compromise personnel safety.
