It leverages the proven capabilities of the Giraffe 1X radar, providing customers with flexible deployment options to maximize operational effectiveness."

The Giraffe 1X radar is equipped with advanced features, including air defense target data, drone detection for counter-UAS operations, and sense-and-warn capabilities for rockets, artillery, and mortars. Continuous software upgrades ensure the radar system remains effective against emerging threats.

This latest development from Saab demonstrates the company’s commitment to enhancing operational capabilities and meeting the evolving needs of modern military forces. The Compact Radar Module is set to be a significant asset for any mission requiring rapid deployment and reliable radar performance.
