Raytheon Secures $529 Million Deal to Equip the Netherlands with Advanced Patriot Air Defense System

In a significant step toward bolstering European air defense, Raytheon, a division of RTX, has secured a $529 million contract to supply the Netherlands with a Patriot air and missile defense system. This new agreement aims to replenish a Patriot fire unit that the Netherlands had previously donated to Ukraine, reflecting the country’s commitment to enhancing NATO's collective defense strategy amid heightened regional tensions.

A Comprehensive Package for Enhanced Security

The contract includes the delivery of a complete fire unit, which comprises a sophisticated radar system, multiple launchers, command-and-control stations, and vital support equipment.
