Lahore Underworld Don Ameer Balaj Tipu Shot Dead at Wedding Ceremony

Defense News ,Pakistan :- A man named Ameer Balaj Tipu, well-known in Lahore's underworld and the owner of a goods transport network, was shot and killed during a wedding ceremony in the Chung area on February 18. This information comes from a private TV channel and was reported by Dawn.

Ameer Balaj Tipu, who is the son of Arif Amir, also known as Tipu Truckanwala, passed away due to injuries from the shooting. Arif Amir himself was a victim of a fatal attack in 2010 at the Allama Iqbal airport.

The family has a history of violence, with Balaj's grandfather being involved in a long-standing feud, as reported by Dawn.

According to the police, an unidentified person fired shots at Balaj and two other guests, injuring them critically. Balaj's associates retaliated quickly, resulting in the immediate death of the attacker.

Despite attempts to save him, Balaj succumbed to his injuries at Jinnah Hospital. The news of his death saddened and angered his supporters, who gathered at the hospital. Some women were seen beating their chests and condemning the attackers, while others loudly expressed their loyalty to Balaj.

Law enforcement authorities have sealed off the area and launched a thorough investigation to uncover the motive behind the attack and identify the assailant. As of now, no arrests have been made.

Ameer Balaj Tipu was widely considered one of the most influential and feared figures in Lahore's underworld, making his untimely demise a significant loss.
