4. Service Life: Minimum 20 years (ensuring long-term operational use)
5. Maximum Range: Exceeding 40 Km (significantly extending artillery reach)
6. Minimum Range: 5 Km in High Angle (providing flexibility for close-range support)
7. Ammunition Compatibility: Compatible with all in-service 155 mm ammunition (averting logistical complications)

The Ministry of Defence is expected to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to eligible Indian defense manufacturers meeting the technical and eligibility criteria.
