Estonia Bolsters Defense with Delivery of US-Made HIMARS Rocket Launchers

Estonia has officially taken delivery of six cutting-edge High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) from US defense giant Lockheed Martin. The handover ceremony was held at Lockheed Martin’s Arkansas headquarters and marks a pivotal enhancement to Estonia’s military capabilities.

The acquisition stems from a $200-million deal inked in December 2022 between the US Defense Security Cooperation Agency and the Estonian Defence Investment Center (RKIK).
