BSF's First Female Sniper Finished Training in Indore

Defense News ,India :-  In a groundbreaking achievement, the Border Security Force (BSF) has trained its first-ever female sniper. Suman Kumari, a sub-inspector in the BSF's Punjab unit, successfully finished an intensive eight-week sniper training course at the Central Armament and Combat Skills School of BSF in Indore.


Kumari stood out as the only woman among 57 male participants in the challenging program. The BSF proudly shared this accomplishment on its official social media account. Snipers play a crucial role in counter-terrorism and special operations, specializing in precisely eliminating targets.


Kumari's training focused on mastering the Sharp Shooter Gun (SSG) and other firearms, ensuring accurate shooting over long distances. In addition, snipers like Kumari learn specialized techniques for camouflage and covert tactics to handle complex situations.
